We have analyzed Stack Overflow users’ salary data and answered the following four questions regarding the users’ salary and different other features:
1. What is the average salary of particular Under Graduate Major and what is the average salary of particular Formal Education?
2. Which company size and company type have highest salary?
3. How many years of programming and formal education is highest average salary?
4. Which country have the highest average salary for Work Pay Care?
Preparing data:
- Inspecting the data
- Handle missing data and replacing them with forward and backward fill
- Preparing the questions by inspecting the data set .
What is the average salary of particular Under Graduate Major and what is the average salary of particular Formal Education?
From the results we can conclude that Psychology have the highest average salary among Majors in undergraduate and Doctoral degree have the highest average salary.
Which company size and company type have highest salary?
From the results we can conclude that ‘Pre-series A startup’ have the highest average salary among company type.In Venture-funded startup , 5,000 to 9,999 employees have the highest average salary among company size.
How many years of programming and formal education is highest average salary?
From the results we can conclude that 17–18 years with Professional degree have highest average salary.
Which country have the highest average salary for Work Pay Care?
From the results we can conclude that In Puerto Rico have the highest average salary and they agree that they were give Work Pay care.
